Grapes to Glass: Cheers to a Sparkling New Year! at the Lodge at Sonoma

Starting at 5:30, we relax and explore the enchanting world of wine—from the very special soils of the vineyard, to the mysterious alchemy of winemaking, to the delightful drink that dazzles the senses, we leave no grape unturned.  Our classes are free and open to all guests and locals.  There are no tests in the class and note-taking is purely optional, the only requirement is an occasional chuckle at our attempts at humor.

Winter WINEland

The 23rd annual Winter WINEland event is a great opportunity to meet winemakers and taste limited production wines, new releases, or library wines. All wineries will have something on SALE for the weekend! Some wineries will offer food pairings and others will have tours. Ticket price will include wine tasting at all of the participating wineries for the weekend. This event does not take place at one location, you travel from winery to winery, visiting the ones you are interested in exploring. More than 140 wineries will be participating in the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys.

Annual Barrel Tasting Along Wine Road

Northern Sonoma County presents their annual double weekend event that is all about the WINE. Sample wines from the barrel and in most cases a limited number of current release wines. This is a chance to purchase future release wines that are so limited it's the only way to get them. The event dates are March 6-8 and March 13-15, 2015.

Sonoma International Film Festival 2015

Now in its 18th year, the Sonoma International Film Festival (March 25-29, 2015) takes place in the heart of Northern California’s Wine Country and features more than 90 hand-selected films including independent features, documentaries, world cinema, shorts and a showcase of Spanish language films. All films are shown at intimate venues within walking distance on Sonoma’s historic plaza. The Festival is dedicated to promoting independent film, supporting filmmakers around the world and inspiring film lovers.
