Great Russian River Race

The summer season on the Russian River kicks off with our 7th annual canoe, kayak and SUP race. There will be two separate races, a 4-mile race for recreational paddlers and an 8-mile race for experienced paddlers and pros. Both races begin at 11 a.m. and both end at Johnson’s Beach with a FREE River Race Party from Noon-4 p.m. for the community to enjoy. They’ll have live music with Cahoots and more, food trucks and beer, costumes competition, and an award ceremony for the racers!

 

This race is a fundraiser for Russian Riverkeeper’s educational programs and trash clean-ups.

Wines & Sunsets

Paradise Ridge Winery presents the 22nd annual season of their popular outdoor Wednesday night event, Wines & Sunsets in Paradise.

Visitors enjoy Paradise Ridge wines paired with beautiful Russian River Valley sunsets. During the event, a selection of the winery’s hand-crafted wines are offered by the glass or by the bottle. Each week also features live music and a local food truck. Advance tickets are $10, $5 for wine club members, and $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at www.prwinery.com, where you can also find the calendar of entertainment and food for each evening. Due to the popularity of this event, groups are limited to 8 people

Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic

Balloons of all shapes and colors will launch from Keiser Park in Windsor at this fun annual event, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year! The main launch at 6:30 a.m. will have around 30 balloons and is followed by tethered rides, food and craft booths, and a kids' play land.

Country Summer

Summer Vineyard Hike
