St. Francis Stars Under the Stars: “Sleepless in Seattle”

Pack a blanket and join St. Francis on the lawn of the beautiful Sonoma Valley Visitors Center for a film under the stars. Back for its sixth year, the Stars Under the Stars Outdoor Film Festival takes place every Thursday at the Winery from July 9 to 23. Seating on the lawn begins at 7 p.m. with a pre-show concert and wine reception. The feature film begins at dusk. Festival sommelier and film aficionado Christopher Sawyer will pair St Francis’ world class wines with world class films!

Debby Holiday Benefit Concert for Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance

An exciting night in the vineyard of Dance, Rock and Soul music that will have you on your feet. Enjoy music from Billboard Top 5 singer and songwriter Debby Holiday

Cline Cellars Wine & Dixieland Jazz Festival

Each year Cline Cellars hosts a fantastic collection of bands for their Wine & Dixieland Jazz Festival. What happier way to spend a summer's day then dancing to the music of bands like Black Diamond Blue Five and the Jambalaya Big Swing Band with a glass of fine wine in hand? Rivertown Revival

This local, arts-based, community festival highlights the Petaluma River and all of the amazing artists who call Sonoma County home. The event includes an art boat race and parade, floating art barges and an all-day festival which features local music, art, food and drink and over 40 fabulous local vendors. Wine Country Half Marathon

You simply could not ask for a more beautiful backdrop for a marathon. The race begins in Napa Valley at Domaine Carneros winery and continues down a back country road past several miles of vineyards, sheep and horse ranches. Cross the county line into Sonoma Valley and wend your way through tree-lined roads, vineyards and wineries. Cross the finish line on the Sonoma Plaza and then it’s time for a down-home post-race party on the town square. Top winners score money AND wine to take home!

Sonoma County Fair

Enjoy “Down on the Farm” for 15 days of toe-tappin’ fun at the 2015 Sonoma County Fair, opening Friday, July 24 and closing Sunday, August 9 (closed on Mondays). Sonoma County's agricultural roots are celebrated in the Hall of Flowers themed “Barnyard Blossoms!” Get in on the action at the horse races, stomp your boots to live music, visit the livestock area or even enter a free contest to win some prizes. Down on the Farm will feature a giant carnival, a bounty of delicious fair food, livestock shows, a special Kids Area, and all kinds of rustic down-home entertainment. The Sonoma County Fair is also a showcase for local arts and crafts in the community. Each week features new and fun events!

The 42nd Gravenstein Apple Fair will be held on August 8 and 9 under the shade of majestic oaks in Ragle Ranch Park in Sebastopol. Enjoy a weekend of old-fashioned fun. Sonoma County Harvest Fair

The Harvest Fair marks it’s 40th year of showcasing the county’s grand harvest which continues to result in world-class wines, award winning beer and a plethora of culinary wealth.
