Meet Rachel and Arthur. They started the catering company Drums & Crumbs and, as you can probably guess, they specialize in Southern fried chicken and seasonal cobblers. They are serving up authentic southern cuisine in the heart of California Wine Country.
Two people with southern roots built this unique catering company on a shared love of thoughtful, well-executed food and a shared appreciation for the way good food brings people together.
Their company developed from an image of big tables with lots of food and lots of people at birthdays, barbeques and after church lunches. They know how quality comfort food can make a hungry face light up and as Arthur says, “What better way to bring people together than good food?”
Committed to using fresh, all-natural and locally sourced ingredients, Arthur and Rachel knew Sonoma’s organic farms, local vegetable patches and seasonal plethora of fruits make this valley the perfect spot to develop their catering company.
Here’s where they need help. They’re having a Kickstarter campaign to help them get on their feet – or, their wheels. Rachel and Arthur are looking for our help to raise $15,000 to pay for a food truck for Sonoma and the North Bay at large, which will also cover one years’ worth of kitchen rentals, insurance, ingredients and fuel.
It’s quite simple: they want to make people happy with delicious, high-quality food. That sounds like a worthy cause to us!
