It’s that time of year in the Heart of Sonoma Valley, where all five senses are awakened and attuned to the beginning of a special season in Wine Country. You begin to feel the night air getting a bit cooler and see sights of trucks with white plastic bins laden with dark purple or golden colored grapes. You experience the familiar smell of fermenting grapes permeating the air, and hear the many sounds of busy harvest crews in the vineyards calling out the next round of instructions. A favorite of the five senses for this annual occurrence is the tasting the latest wine releases with family and friends.
