Harvest Grapes
Harvest (at least the first part) is well under way in Sonoma County, with thousands of tons of grapes picked every day. Harvest requires thousands of hours of work for most winery staff, monitoring the grapes for optimum picking time, sampling the fruit, counting vines, harvesting grapes, manning the tanks, crushing the grapes, sorting the fruit and much more. Watching the grapes go from the vines, to the bins, to the crush pad and into the tanks is quite the experience. Did you get to attend any of the Crush or Harvest events in Sonoma County?
