Transcendence Theatre Company brings excitement back to Jack London State Park!

The actors and actresses of Transcendence Theatre Company are committed to incorporating art, health, community and environment in their outdoor performances taking place during this summer’s first annual theatre festival.

It will be thrilling to celebrate with the community in this awe-inspiring park,” said Amy Miller, Artistic Director of Transcendence Theatre Company. “I know that audiences will be blown away by the magic of Jack London and the talents of the incredible performers that will grace the remarkable open air stage in the Valley of the Moon!”

This year’s festival will begin the weekend of July 14th and 15th and continue through late July, all of August, and early September. Transcendence Theatre Company will be featuring four new shows this summer and will perform, “Dream the Impossible Dream” their opening weekend. Each show features musical theatre artists with Broadway, National Tour, International Tour, Film, and Television credits. This summer’s schedule includes:

“Dream the Impossible Dream” July 14, 15, 20, 21, 22

“Fantastical Family Night” August 3, 4

“What A Wonderful World” August 16, 17, 18, 24, 25, 26

“Gala Celebration: One Day More” September 1

All concerts have picnicking starting at 5:00 p.m. with an 8 p.m. show time start (except for the September 1 show which will start at 7:30 p.m.). Get your tickets early before these shows sell out!

“Dream the Impossible Dream” debuts the weekend of July 14th at the historic Jack London State Park. Viewers can enjoy a pre-show picnic at the park beginning at 5:00 p.m. and can make their way to the Winery Ruins to watch the performance at 8:00 p.m. “Dream the Impossible Dream” features songs from popular musicals such as, “Wicked,” “A Chorus Line,” “Crazy for You,” and other well known songs from the Great American Song Book.  The show’s cast highlights performers from Broadway’s “Mary Poppins,” “Hairspray,” “42nd Street,” and “Mamma Mia.” Cast Members also hold experience from national tour shows and TV series’ such as, “Cold Case” and “The X Factor.”

Performers in the “Dream the Impossible Dream” shows include Broadway’s Nicolas Dromard – “Mary Poppins,” Carrie Manolakos – “Mamma Mia” and Leah Horowitz – “Les Miserables” and many other talented stars. Visit the website for a list of performers!

Transcendence Theatre Company is looking forward to providing tourists and residents with live music, dancing, wine, picnics under the stars, and the preservation of the beautiful and historic Jack London State Park at Sonoma County’s only outdoor theatre venue. Along with bringing spectacular concerts to Sonoma County, Transcendence Theatre Company is also committed to providing community service and educational programs to people all across the county.
